First Day of School

Welcome to 4th  Grade!

Thank you for all the parents and students who made it out to Meet the Teacher night. I loved meeting each and everyone of you and look forward to speaking with you soon! I am thrilled to have you as a part of our winning team this year and can't wait to get started! I want to begin by sharing a little about myself, Ms. Cross!

All About Ms. Cross!

- I graduated from Eastern Wayne High in Goldsboro, NC in 2006

- I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Go Mountaineers!

- I worked as a  manager at Chuck E Cheese in both Raleigh and Durham! 

- Ms. Cross was once in fourth grade, just like you!

- My favorite drink would be a nice cup of hot tea!

Mmmmmmmm!

- If I could eat anything it would be a big bowl of spaghetti!

- I love anything GREEN!

- I enjoy comfy sweaters and cool temperatures in the fall.

- I spend a lot of time reading books!

- Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the smells, the scenery, and the overall feeling of good cheer that comes with the season!

- I currently live in Cary, NC with my other half Daniel, two cats Cosmo and Marble, dog Annie, and turtle Atlas. Daniel and I are very excited to welcome our newest addition to the family, our little boy Jude! I enjoy spending my free time reading, gardening, crafting, and traveling! 

I am delighted to be spending my third year teaching fourth grade here at Merrick Moore Elementary. I couldn't have chosen a better school to start off my career with, as I have already learned so much from my fellow staff members as well from my students.
